I owed Mr Ramesh an essay. This is what i'm gonna give him-

I was late for Mr Ramesh's communication skills class for a few times and I was punished to write a 300 words essay to explain how i could avoid being late again. After some serious consideration, i have come to believe it's a very lenient and useful punishment. The following are some alternatives that could be undertaken to reach school in time not only for Mr Ramesh's class but also for all lessons.

Firstly, i was late because i often oversleep due to the lack of an alarm clock. My handphone alarm has the softest sound even though it is set to the loudest. My parents are poor and an alarm clock is deemed as unnecessary luxury item. I'm always expected to wake up by my own, depending on my own human mind. As you can see, which often fails me. Therefore, one way i could improve is to request several friends of mine to give me an wake up call in the morning an hour and a half before lesson start to give me the needed time to prepare and travel to school. Of course, in this case i would have to choose the richest of my poor friends who could actually afford an alarm clock. Another alternative is to forgo my a month allowance to save up for an alarm clock, that's if i do not become a casualty attempting it.

Secondly, I have to change to another bus after the first to get to Temasek Polytechnic bus stop. Both buses take their own sweet time to arrive at their designated bus stops. Therefore, a way i could try to prevent them do so is to call up SBS and lodge a complaint or i could simply wake up even earlier, like 3 hours before lesson starts. This would largely depend on how trustworthy my friend's alarm clock is. Of course, i would sleep early the night before as to prevent the massive headache i would get if i get up to early in the morning. But all these are nothing compared to the interesting comm skill class conducted by Mr Ramesh yourself which i greatly anticipate.

Thirdly, Bus number 8 and 15 which i wait for at the bus stop outside the prison school are definitely always packed at around 8.00am when most of the Temasek Polytechnic students would head to school. As frustrated i am that i would be late for Mr Ramesh's class, I have to watch several buses of 8 and 15 pass by without anyone boarding at the bus stop. The change i could make is of course, wake up even earlier, like 6am. That would certainly ensure me a place in both buses and be on time for class. Another way is to again lodge a complaint against SBS and suggest a few ways that they could improve. For example, Expand the buses, send buses that only cater to Temasek Polytechnic students. The next alternative is to call up comfort delgo and suggest if they could provide free rides for Temasek Polytechnic students who are almost late for class. The expenses incurred would then be paid by the school itself.

Lastly, It once happened when i didn't have the key to get out of the house in the morning as all the keys have been taken out by the members of the house. I had to call them and ask the most convenient one to come home and unlock the door for me. The only way that i could prevent this from happening again is to print another 100 pairs of keys as spare.

I would like to conclude my essay with my deepest appreciation to Mr Ramesh for asking the latecomers to write this essay. If you hadn't done so, i would not have come up with so many bright ideas and ways that i could be early for class. Finally i would like to ask on the behalf of the students of 1b19 that if we should be late due to inevitable circumstances, like should the bus we board overturns or lands in an accident, you would acknowledge and give us a second chance. Thank you :P
